Eduardo A. Suarez-Solar, Esq.
Mr.
Suarez-Solar has represented and advised small, medium and large
organizations in all aspects of labor and employment relations as well
as provided strategic business development advice to hundreds of
companies, not-for-profits and government entities over the past twenty
plus years. Mr. Suarez has extensive experience in advising employers
regarding business development, human resource management and legal
compliance issues as well as traditional labor matters.
Having worked at all organizational levels, from production worker up
to acquiring a manufacturing facility near bankruptcy and turning it
around to a thriving company with over 150 employees which generated
$30 million in sales; Mr. Suarez-Solar understands his client’s
frustrations, opportunities and challenges. As an advisor/consultant,
Mr. Suarez-Solar has been requested to fulfill roles such as interim
Plant Director for a 155 employee plant in the N.E. United States as
well as an interim V.P. of H.R. for a 1500 plus employee restaurant
chain.
As an Executive Coach and Mentor, he has assisted executives at all
levels to develop their leadership and management practices; thereby
enhancing organizational performance.
As a former Union member, Mr. Suarez-Solar has experienced the effects
that unions have on organizations. He has advised hundreds of clients
on how to manage their businesses to improve employee relations and
increase productivity through motivated employees, streamlined systems
and well-defined processes. Mr. Suarez-Solar pulls from his experiences
as a production worker, manager and owner when advising clients in
legal and non-legal matters.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Suarez-Solar was a Federal
Attorney with the National Labor Relations Board in Denver, Colorado
and worked with the Bibb County District Attorney in Macon, Georgia.
Mr. Suarez-Solar is a member of the State Bar of Florida as well as the
Hillsborough County Bar Association. He participates in the Labor and
Employment and Workers’ Compensation sections of both. Mr. Suarez-Solar
is admitted to practice before the U.S. District for the Middle
District of Florida.
Mr. Suarez-Solar is a speaker at National, State and Local levels and
has authored numerous articles for various publications.
